Free Energy Generators: What the Term Means and How to Evaluate Claims

“Free energy” can mean no fuel bill, harvested environmental energy, or an extraordinary claim of net output without a corresponding energy source. Those meanings should not be mixed.

Define “free” before evaluating the machine

Solar and wind can have no fuel charge while still having identifiable energy inputs. An over-unity claim is a different proposition and needs much stronger evidence.

What to ask next

What is the claimed energy source? Where is the system boundary? What has actually been measured? Can an independent investigator reproduce the result? Those questions prevent terminology from substituting for evidence.
