Solar Generator vs Gas Generator

A so-called solar generator is usually a battery power station plus charging electronics and optional solar panels. A gas generator converts fuel energy through an engine and alternator.

These systems replenish energy differently

Compare continuous and surge output, stored energy or fuel runtime, recharge/refuel logistics, noise, ventilation and maintenance.

What to ask next

What is the claimed energy source? Where is the system boundary? What has actually been measured? Can an independent investigator reproduce the result? Those questions prevent terminology from substituting for evidence.

For the product-specific application of these ideas, see our Moray Generator review.
